What you will be doing

As a Junior Administrative Assistant, you are at the beginning of your professional journey and eager to discover the fund industry and broader financial services sector. This role will introduce you to key areas of DM Luxembourg’s business, with a particular focus on Registrar and Client Communications Funds.

You will be part of a supportive team managing a client portfolio, giving you the opportunity to develop the skills and experience required in Luxembourg’s dynamic fund environment. To further broaden your exposure, you will also assist the Domiciliary Services team during quieter periods in the Funds service line. This is an ideal entry-level position for someone looking to grow their knowledge and develop a strong foundation in the industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • TA & Compliance
Assisting with the collection, analysis, verification, and maintenance of AML/KYC (Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer) documentation for clients and investors, participating in investor onboarding and ongoing due diligence in line with company procedures, preparing various working documents such as reports and spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate filing both physically and electronically through a document management system.

  • Administration
Preparing bank instructions and managing communications related to payments, assisting with the preparation of working documents (Word documents and Excel spreadsheets), filing via a document management system, and office management duties such as answering telephone calls, handling daily mail, and preparing the boardroom for meetings.

  • Domiciliary Accounting
Assisting in maintaining day-to-day accounting records of client companies, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in Lux GAAP or IFRS, and assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and Corporate Income Tax returns.

What will you need

  • A higher education degree (Bachelor, Master or equivalent) in Accounting
  • 0 – 1 years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of or experience with Funds/ Domiciliary Accounting is a plus
